To enroll for the summer school, follow the steps below.
2. Pay the participation fee
The tax depends on the date you make the payment.
You can pay the fee in two installments.
The enrollment date is the date at which at least 50% of the participation fee has been paid.
The tax covers the courses attendance, accommodation, meals (3 meals/day, according to the event calendar), two field trips and transport to/from the bus/train station in Târgu Mureș.
The participants living in Târgu Mureș (who don’t need accommodation and meals) will pay a smaller tax.
Participants under the age of 16 who are not accompanied by an adult cannot be accommodated on the university’s premises.
Depending on the enrollment date, the participation fee is the following: 1.000, 1.200 or 1.400 lei. The fee varies in the following way:
- 1.000 lei for enrollments up to 1st of May 2024
- 1.200 lei for enrollments up to 1st of June 2024
- 1.400 lei for enrollments until the 1st of August 2024
The participants living in Târgu Mureș (who don’t need accommodation and meals) have to pay a tax of 350 lei before the 15th of July 2024 and 450 lei after the 15th of July 2024.
All participants who are not from Târgu Mureș and are under the age of 18, who are not accompanied by an adult need to contact us before enrolling (+40742061223).

Who can attend?
The IP Workshop Summer School is designed for high-school* and university students who are passionate about technology and/or entrepreneurship. While the majority of the participants are Romanian students, the event is open for students all around the world.
*Students who are under 16 and are not accompanied by an adult, cannot be accommodated in the campus.
When is the event?
Each year, the event takes place around the beginning of August. IP Workshop 2023 will take place between 6-17 August.
Where is the event?
IP Workshop 2023 will take place at the Sapientia University in Targu Mures. The campus consists of the main university building, housing building and cafeteria. Courses will take place in university’s classes and participants will be accommodated in the housing. You can find more information about the housing on the event location page
